Remembering workers injured or killed on the job; committing to keeping each other safe.

In 2016, 31 Saskatchewan workers died from workplace injury and disease.
On April 27th the names of the 31 workers will be read in the Legislature in Regina.

The Labour Councils around the province have organized the following events.
We encourage all locals to support and attend the event in your area.

  • Estevan & District Labour Committee – Ceremony will take place Friday, April 28th at 5:00pm in front of the Court House (1016 4th Street, Estevan). Contact Sammy Dryden at 306-421-6637 for more information.

  • Regina & District Labour Council – Ceremony will take place Friday, April 28th at 5:00pm at Queen Elizabeth II Court, Regina City Hall (2476 Victoria Avenue, Regina). The vigil is part of their May Works week and will last about an hour. The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Regina Union Centre (2709 12th Avenue, Regina).
