SCSA's Role in S.O.S.

  1. Discuss: implementation of a health and safety program, roles and responsibilities, legislation, personal protective equipment and health and safety education.
  2. Assist on site supervisors with understanding: implementation of a health and safety program, general site observations, samples of safety equipment and first aid requirements & emergency planning.
  3. Work with industry to: assess industry needs regarding education & training, collect feedback, gather information on specific industry concerns and develop information on industry specific safety practices & methods.
